After $1B Rhode Deal, Hailey Bieber Shares Her Smart Plan for Baby Jack’s Future

Hailey Bieber Says Her $1 Billion Rhode Sale Is “For My Son’s Future”

Hailey Bieber is proving that beauty and business smarts go hand in hand.

Following the $1 billion sale of her skincare brand Rhode to e.l.f. Beauty, the 28-year-old model and entrepreneur shared how she plans to handle the massive windfall — and it’s not with luxury spending.

In a recent interview with WSJ. Magazine (published Oct. 14), Hailey revealed that her priority is to save the money for her and Justin Bieber’s 14-month-old son, Jack Blues Bieber.

“I want to preserve that for my son’s future,” Hailey explained. “It’s an amount of money that I have not dealt with before, so I just want to be smart with it.”

💰 Investing Smart, Thinking Long-Term

Hailey and Rhode CEO Nick Vlahos reportedly split the $800 million in cash and stock from the e.l.f. acquisition, along with cofounders Lauren Ratner and Michael D. Ratner.

As for her share, Hailey said she plans to invest wisely rather than splurge — a sign of her maturity as both a businesswoman and new mom.

“I would like to invest it wisely,” she told WSJ., adding that her main goal is financial security for her son’s future.

But her thoughtful approach doesn’t stop with money. Hailey also opened up about her decision to keep Jack off social media, saying she wants to protect his privacy until he’s old enough to understand it.

“Until your child can understand it and it’s possible to have a conversation around it, I have no interest in putting him out there in any way,” she said.

👶 Protecting Family Privacy While Growing a Global Brand

Hailey first announced the Rhode x e.l.f. Beauty acquisition back in May 2025, explaining that her choice to sell came from a desire to expand the brand globally.

“This decision allows Rhode to reach more spaces, places, and faces around the world,” she said at the time.

Despite the sale, Hailey will remain deeply involved in Rhode’s future. She’ll continue as Chief Creative Officer and Head of Innovation, while also serving as a strategic advisor for e.l.f.

On Instagram, Hailey celebrated the milestone by thanking her team and fans:

“Thank you to the amazing Rhode team who have helped me build over the years. And to our Rhode community, thank you for being the most supportive. This next chapter is going to be even more incredible together!”

💕 A New Chapter for the Biebers

Beyond business, Hailey and Justin Bieber have been enjoying parenthood since welcoming baby Jack in August 2024. The couple often shares glimpses of their life together — from cozy walks with their son to snowy getaways in Aspen — though they remain cautious about protecting their family’s privacy.

The pair celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary in September 2025, proving their relationship continues to grow stronger through every chapter.

With Hailey balancing motherhood, marriage, and a billion-dollar beauty empire, it’s clear she’s not just taking the “Rhode” to success — she’s building a legacy for her family.
