Kim Clears the Air on Call Her Daddy Podcast

Kim Kardashian is officially putting one of Hollywood’s longest-running rumors to rest. During the Oct. 15 episode of Call Her Daddy with Alex Cooper, the SKIMS founder shut down speculation that she ever hooked up with Travis Barker — her brother-in-law and Kourtney Kardashian’s husband.

“No, I never have,” Kim stated firmly. “And that really sucks that that has gone on. But he dated Paris [Hilton], and we were all friends. When I was with Paris, we’d be on the road and go to their tour in Amsterdam. So, I’ve been friends with him, but never in that way. Never hooked up with him.”

The 44-year-old reality star explained that her friendship with Barker began long before he married her sister, going all the way back to his mid-2000s romance with Paris Hilton. Despite years of gossip and resurfaced quotes from Barker’s 2015 memoir, Kim says there was never anything romantic between them.

Travis Barker Once Admitted to a Crush — But Not a Hookup

Travis Barker, drummer for Blink-182, did once acknowledge having a crush on Kim Kardashian in his 2015 memoir, but he made it clear they never crossed any lines.

“Kim and I never touched each other. It just wasn’t meant to be,” Barker wrote at the time.

Kim told Cooper she didn’t expect to be mentioned in the book but wasn’t upset about it. “I didn’t think he’d even allude to anything,” she said, noting that everything between their families has always been “super open and cool.”

Kim also reminded fans that Kourtney and Travis go way back — literally. The two were neighbors for over a decade, and their kids grew up together.

“Kourtney was around during that time,” Kim said. “They were neighbors for a decade. He was always around with his kids — they’d come to Kourtney’s house for birthdays. Everything was super open and cool. Everyone’s been friends. So, it was nothing weird.”

Travis has echoed similar sentiments. In a 2023 Los Angeles Times interview, he dismissed the idea that his memoir caused tension between the sisters. “You give people a little information and they think they’ve solved some mystery,” he said. “It’s just so ridiculous.”
